Location
editI added some information regarding the location of the Cemetery with its address and how to reach it from Mortara and Milan. I also added the names of the streets that connect it to Mortara and Milan. LIUC06reb (talk) 14:33, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- Perfect, thank you! LIUC06ali (talk) 12:46, 27 December 2021 (UTC)

- We changed the layout so that it looks more ordered. LIUC06reb (talk) 10:57, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- Good job, thank you! LIUC06ali (talk) 12:00, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
What's left?
editWe should:
- Expand the content regarding the thefts (we can use the links that we added here in the talk page) LIUC06reb talk 14:40, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
- Add more content and pictures to the paragraph regarding missionary nuns of Mortara. LIUC06sil (talk) 19:05, 14 November 2021 (UTC)
- I think this paragraph looks great now LIUC06reb talk 14:40, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
Draft Review 27/10/21
edit- the page needs a relevant Infobox, images, a map, and sections with External Links, See Also, and perhaps a Gallery Limelightangel (talk) 08:16, 27 October 2021 (UTC) LIUC06reb (talk) 14:38, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
- the three existing references are all formatted incorrectly, and require better use of the Cite Web template Limelightangel (talk) 08:16, 27 October 2021 (UTC) LIUC06reb (talk) 14:38, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
- current content and structure is inadequate in breadth, depth and sources. Limelightangel (talk) 08:16, 27 October 2021 (UTC) LIUC06reb (talk) 14:38, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
- there are a range of basic grammar errors, flagged up in red in the wiki markupLimelightangel (talk) 08:19, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
LIUC06reb (talk) 14:38, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
- Ok, thank you. LIUC06ali (talk) 12:03, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
Draft Review 15/11/21
edit- image captions: edit to improve these to include identifiers of the specific image locations e.g. not just 'main entrance', 'tombstones..', but also where it is i.e. MC of M, Italy, etc. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Captions. LIUC06reb (talk) 19:44, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- gallery captions: format this section to avoid the long columns for the captions e.g. for Marble Bas-Relief image, and similar. LIUC06reb (talk) 19:44, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- style: remove inappropriate style e.g. 'rises from the heart', 'as mentioned previously', and 'real open air museum'. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style, particularly the section here on Foreign Terms. LIUC06ali (talk) 12:55, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- clarity: the text on 'or that death must be removed from the gaze of the living' needs context, a quote, or similar. LIUC06ali (talk) 12:55, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- references: edit the incorrect references using the Cite Web/News templates correctly e.g. refs. 13 and 7. The latter has a clear author to use in the template, amongst other information like date accessed. See Template:Cite web. LIUC06ali (talk) 12:55, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- references: be consistent in format. Either include 'in Italian', or not, but not both. Liuc06rc (talk) 13:55, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
- external links: remove the incorrect format (not just a URL here). The relevance of some of these are unclear. See Wikipedia:External links. LIUC06reb (talk) 19:44, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- links out: avoid duplicate links out from the text and in External Links. Understand the differences in these formats. LIUC06ali (talk) 12:55, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- structure: the History section needs better sub-sections. The section on 1802 contains information related to 1846. Better to remove the specific dates from the section headers, and use: Origins; Morosetti's Project; Modern expansion, etc. There is a 100 year gap in the History section. Morosetti could have dates for birth/death, and a bit about who he was. LIUC06ali (talk) 12:55, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- Format and Consistency: use a correct and consistent format for things like currency and dates e.g. is it 29th or just 29? See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers. Use a consistent format for currency e.g. euros and lire. See, for example, Template:Currency. Is in 'cemetery' or 'Cemetery'? LIUC06ali (talk) 12:55, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- Images: consider better format for the images in the text e.g. left and right justified around the relevant text. Try to locate the relevant image with the text that they relate to. Consider moving some images in to the History section to support the relevant text there. Try to get an acceptable image for some of the architects, and also historic images. LIUC06ali (talk) 12:55, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- grammar: I have corrected some errors, but others remain e.g. arhitecture, lagre, centre, eldest graves, etc. LIUC06ali (talk) 12:55, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- linking out: there are duplicate links out, from different text i.e. both WW1 and Great War link out to the same page on WW1. See [[1]* LIUC06reb (talk) 19:44, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- missing references: the section on Mosaics has no references. LIUC06reb (talk) 13:56, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
- table list of soldiers: it would be logical to list these oldest grave first, and mention this when you introduce the table section. LIUC06reb (talk) 19:44, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- Talk page: try to develop this with responses and discussion, and use it to check tasks off and discuss page development - not just post one-way comments e.g. there no responses to my earlier Draft Review 27/10/21 comments. Edit and tidy up the Talk page, with clear sections and responses/discussion. LIUC06ali (talk) 12:55, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- Content: the page would benefit from a section on location, including an image of the cemetery plan, it's size, boundaries, etc. LIUC06reb (talk) 19:44, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
Limelightangel (talk) 12:53, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for all your advice and guidance. LIUC06ali (talk) 08:39, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for your feedback. LIUC06reb (talk) 09:21, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
Draft Review 20/12/21
edit- you cannot use words like 'majestic', 'in harmony with', 'however', ' that also, in this case,', 'immortalized her',' busts stand out', etc.
- the bus and car information in location should be removed, but the distances retained
- be consistent: is it 'cemetery' or 'Cemetery'? 'council' or 'Council'?
- remove the link out for the euro symbol LIUC06ali (talk) 12:45, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- check for basic spelling mistakes e.g. 'constrution', 'arhitecture' LIUC06ali (talk) 12:45, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- remove duplicate links out e.g. to 'Milan'
- remove irrelevant links out e.g. heaven, biblical, allegory, etc.
- you link out once, where you first use the linked text - see World War I
- Pirovano's original drawings: a couple of these could be left and right justified around the text on him, and the others used earlier with the text on his project. They don't need a separate sub-section LIUC06ali (talk) 12:45, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- Panoramic view of the cemetery' is a subsection heading and needs to go above the image
- I think you have too many images, but may be wrong. You can move some from the bottom to support the relevant earlier text sections e.g. move a couple of the family graves images to that text section; move examples of the building to the sections on the projects/architects, etc.Limelightangel (talk) 10:12, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for the help! LIUC06ali (talk) 13:03, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
