On the origins of the school
editThis blog entry https://flashbackdallas.com/2014/08/25/stonewall-jackson-school/ itself isn't an RS, but it quotes from a February 1, 1939 DMN article about Stonewall Jackson Elementary. I'd like a copy of the article so I can use it as a source. The boundaries were announced in a September 3, 1939 article.

- "Contracts for $104,150 Let on Northeast Dallas School" - December 22, 1938

Basis of notability
editThe basis of notability is a single paragraph on a page of Principles and Methods of Adapted Physical Education and Recreation, the 2005 edition, which discusses the deaf program and its impact. WhisperToMe (talk) 07:45, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
There was also a 1976 study involving the students at the school, so the notability should be further solidified:
- "Maximizing Hearing Aid Usage in a Public Day School for the Deaf". Congressional Serial Set (13141). U.S. Government Printing Office: 312–315. 1976. (circa) - From Google Books search and Snippet

- Turns out one of the authors was an employee of the school. But I still think it's a useful resource. WhisperToMe (talk) 13:50, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
