Serious political issue

International Broadcasting in Soviet Russia?
editIn International Broadcasting there is channel Channel One Russia. But first launch of this channel was in October 1, 1995. Or this mean Russia = USSR and Channel One Russia = Soviet Central Television? I'm not sure that the beauty contest was broadcast on the air in Soviet Union.
