Disputed territories?

edit

Should these be listed as a piece of disputed territory? --MacRusgail 20:07, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

They are not disputed between different states. The French state makes no claim to the territories; the existence of revanchist opinion in some groups in France doesn't make them disputed in that sense, I'd have thought. Man vyi 10:37, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Splitting the article

edit

I wonder whether the time has come to split into Minquiers and Écréhous. Comments? Man vyi 10:37, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Now split. Man vyi 07:41, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Coordinates

edit

One of these territories is 6 miles North-East of Jersey (49° 13′ 0″ N 2° 7′ 57″ W); the other is 9 miles South. One coordinate (48°58′16″N, 2°04′01″W) can't cover both, surely? Man vyi 07:41, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
