Current location of aircraft
editThe aircraft seems to be parked at Moscow's Ramenskoye Airport. Photos are visible in Google Earth near 55°34'27.75"N, 38° 8'34.32"E. 77.119.105.63 (talk) 20:59, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
Speed section is completely bonkers
editReally? Mach 3? Sources on the MiG 1.42 only stated a Mach 2.35 max speed. So what is with this massively inflated value? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.67.21.238 (talk) 03:38, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
Remove all content that uses Gordon as a source as most of his stuff is incorrect
editMost of the stuff that uses Gordon(2001) as a reference needs to be cleaned up and re worked as the source material is old and based on MIG claims on what a production aircraft would have had, which has to be further taken with a grain of salt due to MIG looking for funding and exports for the jet at the time. Furthermore the wiki article misquotes the book and thus contains wrong information.
I would also like to add that basic knowledge of stealth principles tells us that this aircraft would have been very unstealthy more akin to the Super Hornet in terms of radar returns than the F-22, reasons for this include lack of RAM coating, Canards, large gaps in the airplane, and the shape of the Ventral fins all are extremely unstealthy — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lucinator (talk • contribs) 07:39, 26 December 2016 (UTC)
WTF?!
editPlamsa shield? F-22 Raptor has a RCS of 0.3?
This is what gives Wikipedia a bad name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.213.53.118 (talk) 08:58, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
