Michael Asen I of Bulgaria → Michael II Asen – There are no hits for "Михаил Асен I". His name in three Bulgarian historiographical works cited in the article is "Михаил II Асен" (Michael II Asen). The "of Bulgaria" is redundant, since the Asen dynasty ruled Bulgaria from 1187 to 1280, and in line with Byzantine emperors. Map
editThe map "Second Bulgarian Empire (1241-1256).png" was subject to a discussion on the Talk page of Kaliman I of Bulgaria. As per the sources cited during that discussion, we can conclude, the frontiers of Bulgaria depicted by this map should not be presented as a fact. Borsoka (talk) 14:22, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
