Content Addition Needed
editI think content on this page can improved a lot if we can add more some excepts from the text, analysis of the text, and its influence on other school of thoughts.
Troubled sentence in lead: too many 'ands'
editMencius was a disciple of one of the students of Zisi, a grandson of Confucius, and the Mencius records his travels and audiences with the various rulers of the Warring States period, his students, and his other contemporaries.
Let's try a simple rearrangement:
Mencius was a grandson of Confucius, a disciple of one of the students of Zisi, and the Mencius records his travels and audiences with the various rulers of the Warring States period, his students, and his other contemporaries.
I think that appropriately illustrates the derangement. What comes after 'and the' does not belong in the same sentence. — MaxEnt 10:32, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
Punctuation
editThere is an overuse and misunderstanding of the comma in this article. Clauses are broken up by its incorrect use, making reading tedious. 2600:1700:32A0:C640:38C6:781D:8722:7DA1 (talk) 21:53, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
