editThis article is poorly written and probably needs to be redone completely. The english is ... awful. Chris 10:54, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- It is also completely innacurate. The Magistrates' Court can deal with quite serious matters, including intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing serious injury, some aggravated burglary charges and thefts/deceptions up to $100,000 per charge. I agree with Chris, the site needs to be completely redone.
- The Melbourne Magistrates' Court (MMC) is simply a venue of the Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV). The material on this page is relevant to the MCV as a whole and makes no practical sense when linked to the venue of Melbourne alone. Agree with the comments above - poorly written and the whole page should be attributed with the MCV. The MMC also does not house the Koori Court Division - that reference is not accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.130.3.227 (talk) 09:30, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
