Incorrect link to German Wikipedia
editThe link to the German Wikipedia goes to an unrelated page. I have not taken time to look for the correct page but I thought I would note this problem here. Jim Derby (talk) 20:22, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Utterly unclear: Cheaper than what??
edit"Mechanical joints are much cheaper and are usually bought ready assembled."
Much cheaper than what?

You're right, I removed that sentence entirely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by I.Elgamal (talk • contribs) 18:18, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
Too technical, at least to start
editThis article would be improved if there was a brief list of the types of joint, with the detailed engineering jargon to follow. Most people visiting this page will just want a breakdown of the types of joint, and their defining characteristics (again, briefly!). Thanks. HuntClubJoe (talk) 09:25, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
