The Lottery Ticket's Value
editIn both the Project Gutenberg version (the version transcribed from not listed), and the Google Books version, a 1905 Doubleday edition, the value of Trina's lottery ticket, and the subsequent amount stolen and fought over, is $5000, not $15000 as is currently stated in the article. In both versions the money is invested at six percent, bringing a return $25 per month, the correct amount a $5000 investment. It's possible that in later editions the value was raised, but the original seems to have been $5000. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:648:8403:E550:95C3:D0C7:2FF1:D84D (talk) 06:02, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
