Redirect

edit

I've redirected this article for a few reasons. Primarily in the words of the original author, no details are known, justification of an AfD nomination. The photo refered to is not of a car but of a component, or several components of a car. There is no evidence a completed car exists, much less has been driven.

This article can wait until there actually are some details to be expanded. Far too early to be creating 2010 vehicle articles. --Falcadore (talk) 13:02, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fair enough, however the picture, albeit blurred is an official release from McLaren showing their engineers working on the MP4-25 so I thought it warranted an entry. Yes, the car is incomplete and has not turned a wheel but you gotta start somewhere - I may have got in a bit early though --Billydevil (talk) 16:58, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Picture

I have a picture of McLaren MP4-25. Here it is right here.   Is it okay to upload this to the main page? Thanks Mysteryman19 (talk) 23:40, 10 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Blowhole reference

edit

I have removed the reference to blowhole after doing a comprehensive web search. If anyone wishes to add this again they need to include a reliable source. Bjmullan (talk) 22:18, 4 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

F Duct Name

edit

I'm pretty sure the 'fluidic switch' was a retcon - initially journalists called it that because it was next to the 'f' in the 'Vodafone' logo. Also mentioned by Marc Priestley former MP4-25 Mechanic at 45min 20 seconds into this podcast https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKUqRf5SqjQ 62.6.52.14 (talk) 12:13, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Majority of sources claim the f is for the vodaFone that started the name. Loggyboy (talk) 00:04, 29 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
