Useless short descriptions

edit

WP:Short descriptions are intended to provide additional information to that directly available from the title. This article's short description provides exactly the same information. Therefore it fails in its purpose. I changed the short description of one of the stations, as not everyone is aware of the meaning of MRT, and was reverted, with the comment that they must follow a fixed format and to comment here if I want any change to be considered. I suggest that the short descriptions be made more useful, but do not intend to take any further personal action. Cheers, · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 16:50, 6 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Image montage

edit

Tao Payoh is not the appropriate choice in the image montage. As you an see, it's not properly sized, causing a distortion. Its also the first image, therefore showing it in the preview, which could mislead others that all stations are designed like that. I wanted to change it myself but was led here due to the text. A different station would a huge improvement.

@ZKang123: Please crop or substitute a photo if necessary. Also in my view, there's nothing wrong with Toa Payoh as it's indeed true a lot of stations on the North South Line and East West Line were really minimal in appearance, representing nearly 50 or so stations on the network. If you have a better photo, do propose one. Seloloving (talk) 10:00, 2 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I will put up a subsitute soon, likely an image of an NEL station. Give me some time.--ZKang123 (talk) 01:03, 3 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Chipmunkdavis, what's wrong with my edits, specifically even dropping the word whitewashing? — Preceding unsigned comment added by C751CT251 (talkcontribs) 14:04, 22 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

There's an obvious slant, including unexplained multiple removals of issues regarding maintenance. CMD (talk) 16:25, 22 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

edit

Just to inform you all, I've been converting the route succession templates in the MRT and LRT articles to Adjacent stations. The module pages for the templates are as follows:

Is there a reason why station layout info has been removed though? Aerodynamically (talk) 03:57, 30 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
