"Le Caisse Coopérative des prêts" is incorrect in my dialect of French, which would require "La Caisse..." for gender agreement, but before I make that change, I'd like to rule out dialect differences. A DDG search only turned up this article and what appears to be copies or excerpts of it. Does anyone familiar with the dialect this is likely from and its history know? Overall, the English is poor and contains a number of unacceptable grammatical errors (E.g. “her archive ARE held at…”. The writer is obviously not a native English speaker, and his/her knowledge of English is quite inadequate for him/her to do justice to a figure as important as Maryse Condé. The whole article should be scrapped and re-written by someone else. Beryllupita (talk) 22:08, 5 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

All sources say she passed away "in the night between Monday and Tuesday", or "Monday night". How could we possibly know for sure if she died before or after midnight? What does the Wikipedia statures say? 194.69.14.132 (talk) 10:35, 2 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
