I don't think it is possible for Nero to have done this, considering he ruled 54-68 and the topic saints lived in the third century. I believe Diocletian (known especially for his persecution of Christians), who did rule in 303, where it states they were killed, could be the culprit here — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.45.246.229 (talk) 15:11, 2 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
