Thanks for starting this one Tudorminstrel, was intending to dust off my Markham & Co book, as noticed a lack of firms associated with Chesterfield noted on the towns Wiki page, so have added Link on to Chesterfield page. --BulldozerD11 (talk) 13:36, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
Just missed this. Would have been great to get this on the front page as a "Did you know". For future reference ... articles have to be less than 5 days old and have an inline cite for the key fact. But brill! Well done Victuallers (talk) 09:17, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Couple of points; "Included in this was a 34 feet diameter drum, 7 feet larger than that which made William Oliver move to new premises." -but the bit about that drum doesn't appear in the article.
"as well as gun barrels, lathes and riffling machines for Cravens Ltd a sister company."- should that be gun barrel lathes and rifling machines, or did they make gun barrels? and machines that riffled... Ning ning (talk) 20:41, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- 1st sections Tudors bit, I' have to read my book in depth for that one.
