I just drafted and published this page in a single day so there are definitely some improvements that can be made here - in particular, I have seen many varying references to the actual name of the platoon. The Mariana Grajales Platoon may be a more appropriate title. Just wanted to put that out there. I also still have a sizable to-do list related to this article with additional sources I want to investigate, as well as other task items. You can find it on my user page if you're curious.
