I moved this page from Mangbettu to Mangbetu because the latter is more common. The 1911 text in in desperate need of modernizing, by the way. — mark ✎ 09:10, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Mangbetu people. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20070929105937/http://www.shareholder.com/bid/downloads/news/20051111-179536.pdf to http://www.shareholder.com/bid/downloads/news/20051111-179536.pdf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Cannibalism
editPlease be aware that I have reverted the change to the Youtube URL that took place here. The original video compares a tradition of cannibalism to the Holy Communion rite practised by Catholics which I suspect might be the reason User:TheAlkemist replaced this. The video they replaced it with was a French language film that didn't seem to mention it at all (though my French isn't great so someone else may need to confirm this).
I have also added the David Levering Lewis book as a citation to the quote regarding the cannibalism myth. Please bear in mind that I haven't actually read the book and have added this based on the assumption that the user who originally added the book to the Further Reading list had taken the quote from there. If anyone can confirm that this citation is incorrect, I think it would make sense to remove the quote altogether as it does seem a little dubious. KohrVid (talk) 02:28, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
