... "And now, the NatSpeak Frequently Asked Questions:

“Does NaturallySpeaking work on a Mac?” Yes, but only when the Mac is running Windows and you’re using a U.S.B. headset adapter. It works fantastically in Boot Camp and fast enough in VMware Fusion, an emulator program.

Of course, it might be simpler just to buy MacSpeech Dictate, a Mac program that uses the same Dragon recognition technology. Does Dragon Dictate for the Mac fix the training bug in MacSpeech?

edit

In MacSpeech, it matters not that a user correctly train a mis-recognized word. New words created by laborious correction and training procedures, though repeated again and again, are always ignored.

If the new "Dragon Dictate for Mac" (Sept. 20, 2010) product allows you to train words by selecting and typing what it should have typed, and the corrected/trained word then comes up correctly the next time you dictate it, (as now finally in NaturallySpeaking for Windows) then Dragon Dictate for Mac is a package worth having. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.167.61.70 (talk) 14:35, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
