Etymology

What is the etymology of this place name? vi:WP says it means "evade nose" or something like that, which seems very odd. Badagnani (talk) 21:39, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

vi:WP says that it means "Cape Evasion", used as a shelter from typhoons. Another theory posits that it originates from the name of a Cham princess. DHN (talk) 21:56, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
