Sports-reference.com lists Luis' date of birth as 1912/11/18, which is used in this article. However, the official Olympic site (Olympic.org) instead gives a date of 1948/11/18. The IOC is presumably treated as a better source for these things, but a 12 year old at the Olympics - shooting rifles no less - seems hard to believe, so I'm leaving as is. Unfortunately these two sites are pretty much it for now (accessible to a non-Peruvian that is).
