This page should not be speedy deleted because...
editThis page should not be speedily deleted because the tag is frivolous. There is nothing "promotional" about simple facts from reliable sources. The tagger further suggests that the simple sentences in the article is "incomprehensible", which is also a skewed opinion : the sentences are very straightforward. For editors who consider this article to be one-sided anyway, the sources provide material for more depth, particularly the strange relationship with LeEco, but also the built-in controversy of its employees. In short; wp:soFixIt.
I consider making a similar article for NextEV, which already has a car running. I have made substantial contributions to Tesla articles, and I interpret wp:Balance in a wider perspective to the point that other EVs should also have at least some coverage her on Wikipedia. Contested deletion
editThis page is not unambiguously promotional, because there have been a lot of press coverage on this company, including some well known media, such as Motor Trend, Car and Driver, CNET.com, etc. This page might has been just created so the information is not sufficient. Please, please give some time for the page to be filled. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.207.127.54 (talk) 16:24, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

Template idea
editI replaced the lengthy list of "other manufacturers" under "See also" with a template Template:Automotive_industry_in_the_United_States - however it includes a lot of non-EV ones and obviously not the non-US EV ones. Does anyone think there's scope for a similar template "Electric-only vehicle manufacturers"? I suggest electric-only because almost every traditional manufacturer produces (or has produced) an EV of some sort, so keeping it to EV only prevents the template from being unwieldy. See also Talk:Rivian -- Chuq (talk) 06:09, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
- I think that there is already a category for Electric Vehicles Manufacturers of the United States. From what I have seen, Rivian and Lucid Motors have since been added to those categories as well as the category for Car Manufacturers of the United States.
