editLove Pump was important in the way that it exemplified a certain attitude to original music - in Perth and in other places - it is part of the unwritten history of Western Australian music that is only now coming to the fore. The independent ethos under which it operated, and the emphasis the members placed on originality - of music and of approaches to promotion - were peculiar to the time and place. Since that time the opportunities for bands and artists to develop and circulate independently have become more difficult to find.Visualising (talk) 23:56, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
The members of the band have gone on to notable careers, so the background this page provides is important. Given some time (as opposed to a few minutes) this material will be incorporated into the page. Visualising (talk) 23:56, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
Re - the 'hoax' claims for this page - please check the links provided - they reference resources created totally independently of this page. (Although it is pretty funny that the band might be considered a hoax, actually. What were we really doing all that time??!!) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Birdboot (talk • contribs) 13:24, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Where is the hoax allegation? As you say, the references should allay that fear - though it is very ironic if it is considered a hoax! 203.22.23.9 (talk) 19:53, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
