Louise Hippolyte, Princess of Monaco → Louise Hippolyte – The princess seems to be the primary meaning for this title. Векочел (talk) 04:47, 27 November 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 01:54, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose - Let's maintain the "Monarch of country" style for these page titles, so readers immediately know what country is be being reigned over. PS - Can't we wait until other RMs are completed, before starting others? GoodDay (talk) 17:47, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
Opposein line with point 4 of WP:SOVEREIGN which clearly states that when there is no ordinal, the country name is retained (despite the recent change to point 3). Point 4 goes on to say that exceptions can be made in accordance with WP:CRITERIA, and indeed an argument might be made under WP:COMMONNAME for Princess Louise Hippolyte; using the princess's forenames only would not comply. - Actually, looking at this a bit more, there are two further points:
- Accordingly support move to Louise-Hippolyte I – and also drop "Prince of Monaco" from all the other unambiguous Monegasque rulers. Rosbif73 (talk) 13:35, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people)#Single name: "don't use a first name (even if unambiguous) for an article title if the last name is known and fairly often used". DrKay (talk) 09:03, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
- What title would you suggest? At the very least we ought to hyphenate as Louise-Hippolyte, Princess of Monaco (the page was moved away from that title back in 2009 but I see no trace of a discussion); other options could include Louise-Hippolyte I as mentioned above or Louise-Hippolyte Grimaldi as seen in some reliable sources. Rosbif73 (talk) 09:26, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose for titles lesser than King/Queen, we use the title. Richiepip (talk) 04:38, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
