Cleanup
editThis may be the start of a decent article, but currently it needs work. There is no introduction telling you who this person is or what he's famous for; that should be done in the first sentence or two. "Carpetbagger" is slang, and doesn't belong in the article at all, except perhaps in quotes (if he was called that), and certainly not in the first sentence.
That said, most of what's here looks good. I just needs some introductory material and cleaning up. RedSpruce (talk) 22:55, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
No mention that he allowed a woman to be deported because their husband citizenship had been revoked!
- Before women won the right to vote, a woman's citizenship was based on her husband's citizenship. A married woman did not have citizenship apart from her husband. I'm not sure what you mean by "allowed".

The Public
editHello. I know next to nothing about Louis Post. I'm writing this because I came across The Public (journal) on Google Books, a journal he founded and edited for 15 years. I don't see it mentioned here, and I just created the Wikipedia page for The Public.
