Do we really need a list of every single character Newman has introduced to EastEnders (including those who only appeared for an episode or two, such as the returning Carly Wicks)? Newman wasn't responsible then. Her first episode went out on 16 July 2012. Official ratings in May 2012 (the time of that report) didn't go below 6.39 million (the 5.7 million quoted is probably an unofficial overnight figure).
