According to Russian sources, there was also a Partisan Republic located in Bryansk. It has to be verified, whether and in what boundaries this Partisan Republik existed. A map of the republik which includes also Lokot', is figured under [1] and [2]

This article has been moved back and forth between "Lokot Autonomy" and "Lokot Republic" without any discusion or attempt at consensus. I've protected it from further moves for the time being. If anyone thinks the pages should be mopved to a different title they should follow the guidelines at WP:MOVE, which entail posting notices and seeking input before deciding on the best title. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 21:18, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

There is no consensus needed. LOKOT AUTONOMY was never called a republic, although this entity is orally referred to as such by Russian neonazis. The Russian Wiki has finally settled on its actual name after a few edit wars a couple of weeks ago.Galassi (talk) 23:16, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
If there's any difference of opinion it's better to include all variations with a description of their uses. In the words of Yogi Berra, "When you come to a fork in the road, take it." In this case, we could say something like "Place X is also called Place Y, the latter used more often in Z-language sources." While the article can only have one name we can include all significant names in the text. Can we draft some brief, neutral text that describes what this place has been called that would include the "republic" variation? Or is "republic" not a significant name in any language or context? ·:· Will Beback ·:· 08:27, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
There in not a single primary source/document that would ever mention "republic". Galassi (talk) 12:22, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
There have been furhter page moves without any discussion. I'm going to protect the page from furhter moves to allow editors to find a consensus on the best name for this page. If they are unable to do so on their own I recommend further steps in dispute resolution such as an RfC and, if that fails, mediation. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 22:29, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
There is little chance of any intelligent and sober discussion here. The L. "republic" and its leader Bronislaw Kaminsky have recently been popular among Russian Neonazis, skinheads and Hitler worshipers gravitating around neonazi journalist Sergey Veryovkin who has been fabricating the "L.R. history" for some time, by making claims unsupported by any primary source. There is quite a lot of this garbage on Livejournal blogs.Galassi (talk) 22:48, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
