editI object to the deletion of this page, on the grounds that Locale (geographic) is a necessary heading item for articles on smaller geographic sites of human activity. I have seen it used on maps for various types of present and historic locations indicated in this article. I also think it fills a gap in geographic catagory that other items might be put into. - This category is especially helpful in the case of old settlements in the Western United States where isolated buildings or small settlements, defined as a locale, had out sized importance in its history.Asiaticus (talk) 03:52, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
