The result of the move request was: Moved to List of suffragists from Georgia (country) and List of suffragists from Georgia (U.S. state). There seems to be a rough consensus around that outcome. Conversely there isn't a consensus that "Georgian" by itself is sufficient to identify the country — Amakuru (talk) 20:20, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- List of Georgia suffragists → List of Georgian suffragists
- List of Georgia (U.S. state) suffragists → List of Georgia suffragists
– The article about the U.S. state used to be at the base name until it was recently usurped to make way for a stub about the country at the base name. I don't believe suffragists in the country are primary over suffragists in the state. Category:Lists of suffragists shows such country-specific lists use the demonym of the country while list of American suffragists by state shows state-specific articles are titled list of [state] suffragists. Thus, we need WP:NATURAL disambiguation here, with hatnotes between the two lists. Mdewman6 (talk) 03:17, 24 December 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 15:14, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- Do something else: I don't think "Georgian" really implies the country rather than the U.S. state, and I don't think "Georgia" implies the converse, so both suggested titles appear to be ambiguous. — BarrelProof (talk) 04:36, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- Move List of Georgia suffragists to List of Georgia (country) suffragists, keep the U.S state list where it is, and create a disambiguation page at the base name. * Pppery * it has begun... 19:39, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
- Support I agree that Georgian in this context naturally refer to people from the country, and I think the proposal is a sensible way of approaching this. Rafts of Calm (talk) 11:12, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- "Georgian" is also the demonym for people from the U.S. state of Georgia. — BarrelProof (talk) 19:41, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- Status quo or move per Pppery's suggestion: Georgia or Georgian naturally refers to Georgia (country), not the U.S. state. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 12:24, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- If Pppery's suggested title seems grammatically unnatural, I may suggest List of suffragists from Georgia (country) and List of suffragists from Georgia (U.S. state). That, however, would not be WP:CONSISTENT with other articles of similar subject. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 12:27, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- That works for me too. * Pppery * it has begun... 19:28, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- Agree with this. Rafts of Calm (talk) 21:10, 6 January 2025 (UTC)

- Relisting comment: Many alt suggestions, let's narrow them a bit down? ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 15:14, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- Support 1st, Oppose 2nd. Georgian is the standard adjective for people from Georgia (the country), but the second should be moved to List of suffragists from Georgia (U.S. state) for clarity, which in this instance is better than consistency. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:26, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
