Hizb ut-Tahrir
editHizb ut-Tahrir is not mentioned in the list of political parties in Afghanistan although it is clear that it has activists there. You can refer to their website for more information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.108.169.9 (talk) 09:53, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
Against Islamic morality
edit"No political party is permitted to exist that advocates anything that is deemed to go against Islamic morality" That is not very democratic I think. That's like forbidding all parties who don't agree on Islamism. Afghanistan is no democratic state, a state were people who don't like the Islam have no political rights, is like a second Iran. No wonder the name of the state is Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Why is the west defending a nation which is not democratic ??? --UDSS (talk) 20:33, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
1: This is not a forum for general discussion of the article's subject. The purpose of this page is to discuss whether the information contained within the article is factual. 2: But, to violate that a bit, if democracy means "rule by the people", and the people, or their legitimate representatives, determine that politics in the state is defined by a certain relationship to Islam, is that not Democracy?
