To-do list for List of lakes of Washington:

Question
editIs the header "Major natural lakes" meant to separate those lakes from reservoirs? Should there then be a "reservoirs" section? Murderbike (talk) 22:56, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
- Also, some of these lakes are borderline "natural", like Lake Cushman. In many cases there is no clear line between natural and reservoir. Lake Chelan, for example, is clearly natural, yet is also a reservoir, dammed and with control water levels. Why not just open this up to all lakes of whatever kind? Pfly (talk) 06:14, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Size-based exclusion
editAt present, this list limits the lakes and reservoirs included by size. Most other lists of lakes by state do not include such exclusionary criteria, not even List of lakes in Alaska, the largest state, or List of lakes in Minnesota, the state famous for its numerous lakes. It is probably more useful and informative, in my opinion, to follow the lead of other, similar lists by providing an inclusive, incomplete list than enforcing artificial incompleteness by placing size limits for inclusion. I propose that we allow this list to include any named Washington lake with its own article. Uberstadt (talk) 05:25, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- If nobody is disputing this, I would like to go ahead and make the change to include a more comprehensive list of lakes in Washington. Any opposition? Uberstadt (talk) 07:36, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, please do expand the list. I think that'd be a great idea. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaywm (talk • contribs) 08:39, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
