"On" the Navajo Nation, or "In" it?

edit

"On" recalls the time when the Navajo Nation was still called the Navajo Reservation. I think it should be changed to "in the Navajo Nation." Karmos (talk) 22:48, 8 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Never mind. I've been informed that Navajos say "on the Navajo Nation" themselves.Karmos (talk) 06:06, 10 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Is Page, AZ, part of the NN?

edit

According to the map on the Navajo Nation website, <http://www.discovernavajo.com/images/Navajomap.jpg>, the town of Page, Arizona, is outside the NN. The city's own website doesn't say, one way or the other, but it gives the time in Page in Mountain Standard Time, when the NN is currently on MDT. On the other hand, Google Maps clearly shows Page in the NN. Anybody live there or nearby? Lincmad (talk) 06:52, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

That's right, it isn't. The template {{Communities of the Navajo Nation}} is actually more accurate; this list was removed from Navajo Nation, where people just added all sorts of places simply because some Navajos were living there (it even had Barstow, CA, and whatnot on it) Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 07:25, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Also, Wood Springs is not a community — it's just a freaking Trading Post in the desert, that's it. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 07:42, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Is the unincorporated community of Buffalo Springs, New Mexico located within the Navajo Nation? It is located on the John Pinto Highway. Thank you-RFD (talk) 12:11, 30 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
