Sort problem
editThe "Annual generation" column does not sort properly. Looks like lexicographic rather than numeric, probably due to the inclusion of the parenthetical years. Anyone know a good fix for this? Dicklyon (talk) 22:20, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
Should there be an entry for when each plant opened?
editThis seems like very relevant information that a reader may want to know. I'm sure it could be difficult to find, but I would be willing to go through and add them. I doubt I could do it in one go, so it would be piecemeal for a while. TheTechnician27 (Talk page) 16:54, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
- Actually most state lists like List of power stations in Indiana have opening dates, and EIA has a list of all stations at https://www.eia.gov/electricity/data/eia860m/ which includes operating year (easy to filter by coal and then sort alphabetically), so that shouldn't be very much work to add at all! Agree this would be relevant so thanks for your work here! Reywas92Talk 17:13, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
Marissa Illinois plant?
editWhere is the Prairie State Coal Plant on this list? It is in Marissa, IL and does not appear to be listed. Why would that be, considering it is fully operational and delivering power to numerous cities as their sole power source. 69.174.145.76 (talk) 21:53, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
