File:Flag African Union.svg Nominated for speedy Deletion

edit
An image used in this article, File:Flag African Union.svg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Updates

Ok, we need some general updates on this article but also think about if we should continue to include national flags for ambassadors who are not serving their home country but the EU. does not make sense to focus on nationality here...--LH7605 (talk) 02:12, 31 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

I agree on that. If there is no further opposition I suggest we remove the flags.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 11:45, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Is it necessary to mention also the former ambassadors?

edit

Several Ambassadors will be newly appointed elsewhere in September 2021. here is the source for it. Then also, is it necessary to mention the former ambassadors? I'll remove the ones which have no Wikipedia article if there is no opposition to that. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 11:42, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
