Arbitrary date range covered by this list article

Following up on the above comment, I have worked up a "vertical" table for the data covered by this article at my Sandbox, and will be bringing this revised version of the table over here soon.

But in so doing I have come to realize that the date range encompassed by this article is completely arbitrary. It should cover the period from 1789-1822, which essentially encompasses the "Federalist/Democrat-Republican" era. This is especially stark when one looks at the sister List of United States House of Representatives elections, 1814–34 article, where the period covered by that article is even more arbitrary – instead, it should cover the "Whig" era from 1824 to approximately 1854.

With this in mind, I am thinking of shifting these articles as follows:
