Re name the articles

This articles provides long list of tribes which are resident in South Punjab (A term extensivly used in media, news paers, weather forcasts, budgets, Political Parties sub units, Provincial administration, etc). These tribes speak not only saraiki but also Standard Punjabi, Balochi, Pashto and Sindhi. Hence classifying these tribes as saraiki is misrepresentation of facts.

Traggar

The Traggar, sometimes spelt Targar are a tribe of Jat status, found mainly in South Punjab, with a sizeable presence in the Thal. According to their tribal traditions, the Traggar are by origin Bhatti Rajputs, who get their name from the town of Traggar in Bikaner District of Rajasthan. They left Bikaner some five centuries ago, and settled in Jhang. On their settlement in Punjab, the tribe converted to Islam. The Traggars were forced to leave Jhang when the fell out with the Sial, who were the local rulers. A branch moved west and settled in Bhakkar District. Another group moved south, and settled along the banks of the Chenab River, in what is now Muzaffargarh and Multan districts. A further migration took place in the 18th Century, when some members of the tribe moved into Sindh, where quite a few are found. The Traggars speak Seraiki, in both Sindh and Punjab. There customs are similar to neighbouring tribes such as the Bosan and Thaheem, and they are mainly landowners and cultivators.

In terms of villages, a large number are found in Dera Atta Muhamadwala in Mianwali District and Khatwan in Bhakkar District.

Lakhesar

Lakhesar is also a cast of Saraiki tribe. mostly Lakhesar peoples lives in Rajanpur,multan,dera ghazi khan or dera ismail khan, and balochistan. before the partition of pakistan some of them gone to india. lakhesar people are spread all over the world, they are very brave people or honest and also known as Saraiki baloch Faraz Lakhesar (talk) 01:27, 18 November 2017 (UTC)

This list only includes tribes that already have articles on wikipedia, and Bohar was deleted last year because of notability concerns. If you want it restored, you can ask at Brianga's talk page, but please bear in mind that for the article to survive once restored it must have a good amount of sourcing. Alternatively, a mention of Bohar can be added to this list regardless of whether there is an article or not, but then we need a reliable source identifying them as a Saraiki-speaking tribe. – Uanfala (talk) 14:47, 24 December 2017 (UTC)

Are you suggesting that Malana be added to the list? The list normally includes only tribes with wikipedia articles, and I don't see one for Malana. An entry could be added even if there is no corresponding wikipedia article, but we'll need a very good reliable source stating that they exist and that they are a Saraiki-speaking tribe. – Uanfala (talk) 19:15, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
