Hi; this seems to be the most appropriate page in the Norwegian Navy categories to ask this, and perhaps even though it was only temrporary, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada was the home port-in-exile of the Norwegian Navy and Norwegian Merchant Marine (name?) during World War II; I don't know much more about it, but can provide a photo of the memorial to Norwegian sailors down on the Halifax waterfront, adjacent to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Other than just offering hte picture, and the story, seeing this list and teh accompanying category makes me wonder if Halifax shouldn't be included; if so Port of Halifax or Halifax Harbour might be more appropriate for the category placement than teh city article....Skookum1 (talk) 19:14, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
