How this List is Organized

edit

Example of a NH Historical Marker

The Historical Markers in this list are organized chronologically. They are numbered in the order in which they were established (the first being in 1958). The title of each entry is the title of the marker, while the italicized text below is the text of the marker. Please don't edit the titles or the text except to correct any differences between the entry and the actual marker. The purpose of this article is not to be factual about the historical events, but to be factual about the markers.

Example

edit

66. State Capitol

The State Capitol Building of New Hampshire was built in 1816 to 1819 by Stuart J. Park. It is constructed of New Hampshire granite quarried in Concord. The original part was occupied June, 2 1819 and is the nation's oldest State Capitol in which a legislature meets in its original chambers.

Per WP:NC and WP:MOS List of New Hampshire Historical Markers: 1-25 (hyphen), etc., should all be at List of New Hampshire Historical Markers: 1–25 (en-dash) with redirects to them from the hyphen versions. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 23:11, 20 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
