Talk:List of International Baccalaureate people

Latest comment: 5 years ago by Baekemm in topic Kim Jong-Un

Not Really. Anynody who is notable - as in note worthy - should be included. Why discriminate based on political and religious beliefs? Obaidz96 (talk contribs count) 15:30, 28 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Urick Yeggermanngenssohn? No mention on the IB website. I'm just going to go out on a limb here and call it vandalism.

I wil delete these people.

- Kim Jong-un, son of Kim Jong-Il, Dictator of N. Korea, attended International School of Berne, Switzerland [6]

I do not think that beacuse he is the son of a dictator he can be consider as a person who might represent the IB program; besides he does not have anything on his behalf

- Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, Christmas Day Underwear Bomber, British School of Lome' [7]

It is important to see that to include a person as notable alumni he or she might have done something remarclable and most iportant POSITIVE. To atemp to detonate plastic explosives as an at of terrorism is not a positive action —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.191.82.66 (talk) 16:52, 7 February 2010 (UTC) Reply

I'm going to delete Ke$ha from the list for a number of reasons: 1. She clearly doesn't fit on the list of notable alumni as she isn't notable for any sort of academic accomplishment. 2. She isn't an alumna, it clearly says on the given source that she dropped out of high school and only mentions that she was at one point enrolled in the program. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.100.210.129 (talk) 15:12, 19 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

This page seems to be getting a lot of edits from un-notable people adding themselves as notable, including some I know personally, and these people are generally unregistered users. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Minerman30 (talkcontribs) 15:58, 21 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Kim Jong-Un

edit

Removed Kim Jong-Un, Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, from the list because in his own article there is sufficient documentation of his having attended the Liebefeld-Steinhölzli public school in Koeniz, Switzerland, which ends with Year 9 and is not an IB school.--Baekemm (talk) 19:50, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
