editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on List of Bulgarian films of the 2010s. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20090425040238/http://www.titra.net:80/html/films/frsetyears.htm to http://www.titra.net/html/films/frsetyears.htm

Merge proposal
editI am proposing that List of Bulgarian films of 2014 be merged into the decade list. It is not standard practice that a country always gets a standalone "list of Country films of YYYY" for every year as a matter of course; instead, practice varies from country to country based on the actual size of the lists. Countries with a small number of films just have one base list of all their films, countries with a medium number of films have that base list split up by decade, and only countries with a large number of films get split up all the way to separate lists for each individual year. Specifically in 2014, however, one user undertook a deeply misguided project of creating standalone lists for every country that had even one 2014 film to list, which was not standard practice before and has not been done since.
So the result in this instance is that 2014 is the only year where Bulgaria has a standalone by-year list, while all other Bulgarian films are listed by decade instead of by year, and accordingly that list should be merged into the 2010s list rather than continuing to stand alone. Additionally, the 2014 list also features an improper distinction between "major releases" and "minor releases", which is not standard practice, violates principles of neutral point of view since it's subjective whether a release counts as "major" or "minor", and should not be retained at all.
Ordinarily I would just boldly perform the merger myself, but in this case the decade list wants the films alphabetized by their original Bulgarian titles with the English-language titles second, while the 2014 list is organized by English titles and largely doesn't include the Bulgarian-language titles at all, so merging them would actually require some additional research that exceeds the amount of time I'm prepared to invest in such a thing. But regardless, 2014 doesn't need its own standalone list if all other Bulgarian films are organized by decade instead of individual year. Bearcat (talk) 16:17, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
