Reformatting of Tours section
editWhat are your thoughts on revamping the tours section to be more in the line of the section in List of Taylor Swift live performances and List of live performances by Camila Cabello showing the attendance and gross revenue? The info for 2014 the red bullet has already been pulled into the page for 2015 the red bullet and the two tours look related similar to BTS' Love Yourself tour and its Love Yourself Speak Yourself extension. The 2015 Japan tour could be folded into the page for Wake Up similar to Camila Cabello's Never Be the Same Tour. Their 2015 TMBMIL On Stage and 2016 On Stage:Epilogue tour also look related based on its naming convention so it could benefit from the creation of a page. 107.15.167.155 (talk) 23:20, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
- Would make sense, as I already reworked the other sections. I thought about reworking the tour section, but your suggestion is the best by now.--Lirim | Talk 03:15, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
- I have created a draft for the TMBMIL On Stage tour (+ On Stage: Epilogue) per the discussion here Flamingfiery (talk) 21:39, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Flamingfiery: There was no need for an AfC, the article was good enough. I fixed some things and moved it to articlespace.--Lirim | Talk 02:35, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Lirim.Z:Sorry, my account is new so my article automatically went to AfC. Thank you for moving it! Flamingfiery (talk) 02:41, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Alexanderlee:, @DanielleTH: Your opinions on moving the tables to the album pages of DW and Wake Up and reworking the Tours section like here or here?--Lirim | Talk 02:48, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- I've been wanting to do this for a year but it needs a lot of reworking and so I put it on hold. I like Gaga's model the best and have started it here. I'm 100% open to moving it to a draftspace if people would like to edit it. Starlight dreams has also mocked up a much more complete list of their television appearances here. DanielleTH (Say hi!) 02:53, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- @DanielleTH: Feel free to use my draft however you all like! I wasn't planning on working on it for a while. Starlight dreams (talk) 02:42, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
- @DanielleTH: I'll add the live performances, but will split them into year subheaders. The issue are the refs and I am not entirely sure if we really need to include all music program performanes.--Lirim | Talk 03:02, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- I don't see why not? I think keep it on its own page titled "List of BTS television appearances" (not everything on the concert tour page is concert tours, this page should be live performances). It seems weird to be selective, based on what criteria should we choose what to list and what to omit? I'd kind of like for us to reformat Starlight's draft before we add anything else though. DanielleTH (Say hi!) 03:08, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- @DanielleTH: An extra page would make more sense, since TV performances have not much to do with concerts and tours. Starlight's draft needs a lot of work though.--Lirim | Talk 03:10, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

Yes, that I do agree with. It's not fully complete as well but it's nearly there and definitely took a lot of work to compile though, so I'm thankful for it. DanielleTH (Say hi!) 03:12, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
Tour titles
editWould it be a good idea to rename the tour pages to their more commonly known name? For instance, renaming 2015 BTS Live Trilogy Episode II: The Red Bullet page to The Red Bullet Tour and having the text say "also known as 2014 BTS Live Trilogy Episode II: The Red Bullet and 2015 BTS Live Trilogy Episode II: The Red Bullet." 107.15.167.155 (talk) 18:36, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Lirim.Z:, @Alexanderlee:, @DanielleTH: Opinions on renaming the tour pages to be more in line with WP:NC and WP:CONCERT? The tours are rarely referred to by their full name in articles and cutting down the title length would help a lot with naturalness and conciseness. For example, Rolling Stones and the Grammys website refer to BTS World Tour: Love Yourself as the Love Yourself world tour. I suggest the following moves: 2015 BTS Live Trilogy Episode II: The Red Bullet --> The Red Bullet Tour, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage --> The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage Tour, 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour --> The Wings Tour, and BTS World Tour: Love Yourself --> Love Yourself World Tour. Flamingfiery (talk) 03:16, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- I don't see an issue with that, but wait what the others say.--Lirim | Talk 05:26, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- Wouldn't be opposed if they're treated like Love Yourself and Speak Yourself here, one page, different headings. They're the same tour category but have different setlists and promotions, and that should be acknowledged. On this page as well. DanielleTH (Say hi!) 13:32, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Flamingfiery: I agree with the above and support the move. It would be a good idea to make sure the changes to the names are reflected on the main BTS page as well. Starlight dreams (talk) 02:33, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
- I have moved the pages for the red bullet and TMBMIL on stage but am unable to complete the move for the Wings tour and Love Yourself Tour. Flamingfiery (talk) 20:54, 31 May 2019 (UTC)

Unreliable sources in article
editFairyjimin I'm directing this to you as I've noticed lately you're very active in updating this page. There are a ton of unreliable sources being used as references so before you add anymore please see WP:KO/RS for a list of acceptable and unacceptable sources that can be used. Soompi, Koreaboo, allkpop, kpopmap, Kultscene etc. should not be used. I don't have the time to tag every single instance in the table of an unreliable source or make the corrections myself because I'm occupied with a few other projects rn so I figured this would be quicker. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 11:53, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
Carlobunnie I just saw your message I'm very sorry I wasn't aware that not every website is acceptable as a source and I'm going to try to correct everything asap with reliable sources. That said I've noticed often Koreaboo, allkpop and especially Soompi are the only ones which write an article about everything so I might not find a single source then that is accebtable. Is it better then if I delete the (unreliable) source I already added and leave the reference blank? Fairyjimin (talk) 20:50, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Fairyjimin: Soompi usually includes the korean source it got its info from at the bottom left corner of its articles, you'll see a little (1)(2) etc. Click on the number and it'll take you directly to the kor news article you can use in place of soompi. Allkpop and Koreaboo do not do this so in their case you'd have to either remove those citations altogether or search google/naver for an appropriate replacement. Keep in mind not all korean sources are reliable either as some of them quote allkpop, pinkvilla, and other kpop news sites/user-created charting sites (kworb etc.) that wikipedia deems unreliable. The list I linked above will help you get an idea of what news sources as good to use. You can also check out other BTS articles and see the sources they use for tv appearances, tours etc. and that should help. If you still run into trouble, are unsure about a source, or don't know what search term to look up on Naver, you can ask me or any of the more-frequent BTS editors on any of the BTS pages for advice, or you can just place a
{{citation needed}}
tag until an appropriate source can be found. This article will help you understand how to tag for a citation needed and what info to include when you use it. I might not be able to reply asap sometimes even though I'm usually here pretty often but I'll help if I can. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 22:40, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Fairyjimin: Just fyi, you can check the Italian version of this page. When I translated it, I replaced all the Soompi/etc. sources. I can't guarantee they always mention the songs they performed since I wasn't going to add that column at first, but I think you'll find it useful anyway. --Chiyako92 08:52, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Carlobunnie: Thank you I've now tried correcting all the incorrect sources I've added. Fairyjimin (talk) 12:36, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Chiyako92: Your page was really helpful thank you.Fairyjimin (talk) 12:36, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Fairyjimin: The source you added in this edit is about the Rookie Award win, not the performance. (Tbh I couldn't find any performance video from the show) --Chiyako92 08:30, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Chiyako92: Do you mean the 28th golden disc award on the 16th january 2014? here's a link to their perfomance it starts at 3:22 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ypxL9AKj1Q I found this article which mentions BTS No more Dream perfomance at the gda 2014 however seoulbeats isn't listed under reliable sources and the Sports Chosun article they linked at the bottom doesn't seem to exist anymore so I hope i can find a better source. https://seoulbeats.com/2014/01/2014-golden-disk-awards-recap/Fairyjimin (talk) 14:29, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
- It took a while, but I've found a source. Here it says something like "Following the award, the stages of the rookie award winning teams continued. BTS presented a sweet rendition of their debut song 'No More Dream'". --Chiyako92 15:30, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Chiyako92: That's good thank you should I change it? I found these two articles http://news.kukinews.com/newsView/kuk201401160284 and https://www.tvreport.co.kr/451013 that mention the perfomance too. Fairyjimin (talk) 16:40, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Fairyjimin: Yes, I would change the source with one of the three we found. Also, this one might be better for the 2015 Seoul Music Awards. The one we are using now looks more focused on the attendance rather than the performance. Chiyako92 13:36, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Chiyako92: That makes sense I'll change it thank you. Fairyjimin (talk) 17:39, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Chiyako92: Shouldn't we add the festivals and concerts like a-nation, summer sonic and lotte dutty free family concert under concerts or joint tours and concerts rather than perfomances on award shows, tele... it might fit better?Fairyjimin (talk) 17:51, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree with you on the move. Chiyako92 08:31, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

Muster and Fanmeetings
editFanmeetings are, for BTS, the Japanese equivalent of Musters in Korea, which both designate shows that occur on the anniversary on the band. They may differ in the setlist but mostly because they showcase the Japanese versions of their songs, and their Japanese songs (that have no Korean equivalent), at Fanmeetings. What are you thoughts on adding the musters to the Fanmeetings section?
Besides I am not sure of this but I don't think any of these events are actual fanmeetings in the usual sense, it's a concert and I don't think BTS meet their fans one by one like at fansigns, so maybe rename that new section to avoid confusion? Minedeplume (talk) 12:25, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
