1. Well-written:
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct. Prose is clear and concise, spelling and grammar are correct. Tiny copyedit by me (and I mean tiny).
1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation. I like the quotes, in particular. The lead is very good, layout is appropriate, no words to watch that I can see.
2. Verifiable with no original research:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline.
2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose).
  • Infobox: checks out
  1. Early life and education: all correct
  2. Business career: all correct
  3. Flying career:
    • "Finch also flew her Beechcraft airplane to conduct business" - I checked the source, I can't see this info. I may have missed it, can you quote the bit where you found this? sorry, I missed the info, source supports the statement - Aussie Article Writer (talk) 01:09, 17 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
    •   Done Towards the top it says, The plane she flies on business, the Beechcraft, is 27 years old.
    • topowmen.atspace.com - I'm not sure I consider this to be a reliable source, can you use another?
    •   Done --Doug Coldwell (talk)
  4. World Flight 1997:
    1. Preparations:
    2. Recreation of historic flight: all the sources I can read check out
    3. You Can Soar:
    4. After the flight: all the sources check out
  5. Personal life: all the sources check out
2c. it contains no original research.
2d. it contains no copyright violations or plagiarism.
3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic.
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).
  4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
  • unfortunately, I am now concerned about the following sentence “ Finch hoped that children around the world would understand Earhart's courage, hope and determination, and find heroes in their own lives who would teach them to reach high.” There is no source for this and it appears to be on the verge of puffery. Perhaps it should be toned down? - Aussie Article Writer (talk) 01:03, 17 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
  5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content.
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions.
  7. Overall assessment.
