Peacock??
editIs it a peacock-statement that Lillian Hayman was a Tony Award-winning actress and should that be removed?
Is it sensible to remove all links to actress and singer? The Banner talk 07:32, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
- Per WP:PEACOCK, "award-winning" is a peacock word. If you want to mention that she won a Tony, state so in another sentence following the lead sentence. The adjective "award-winning" constitutes loaded language. Per WP:OVERLINKING, common occupations are unlinked. Is it really sensible to link to those pages when virtually all readers know what an actress and a singer are? —Wash whites separately (talk) 11:06, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
