R v Dudley & Stephens as inspiration?
editSince the Python member John Cleese went up to Cambridge for the Law Tripos, and undoubtedly read this case in criminal law, I would say it is reasonable to assume it was at least partial inspiration for the sketch.
I realise, though, that this is not enough evidence upon which to base a claim within the article but perhaps a note on Cleese's legal background could be included as that is a self-evident fact, and leave the reader to draw their own inference from it?

"Vital statistic" question
editI would like to know the running time of this sketch.
How long is it? 108.1.71.13 (talk) 11:02, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Lifeboat sketch. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20090908023935/http://orangecow.org:80/pythonet/sketches/lifeboat.htm to http://orangecow.org/pythonet/sketches/lifeboat.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
