Talk:Libya national football team

I don't think the editorial tone in this page is appropriate. "Libya hopes" and so on.

Just the facts.

I have to agree with you. The offending material has been deleted. This is wikipedia after all, and neutrality is important.

Well when it was last instated it had been substantially re-written from a more neutral view.... without it, this page is little more than a stub. I think it should come back in, it provides a history of the team's performance and some context. --Robdurbar 09:11, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
So I've reinstated it but I've remvoed the bit under the heading 'world cup history' which I'd overlooked when rewiriting. Have merged this into the rest of the text. --Robdurbar 09:14, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've just re-edited one small part this time. It should be fine now. RandallFlagg Scotland 15:09, 7 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I was the one who initially increased the size of the article. I did it at a time when I was unaware of what format was suitable for an encyclopedia article. Thank you all for formatting the page. I have fixed some minor spelling mistakes and re-phrased some sentences as well as creating a page for the coach Ilija Loncarevic. Jaw101ie 14:39, 11 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Should read "Libyan national team" instead of Libya national team.

Fair use rationale for File:Libyan Football Federation Logo.png

edit

File:Libyan Football Federation Logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a non-free use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I am trying to add national team's logo but they keep deleting it. I do not think this is fair as the same logo is used here: Libyan Football Federation.

I want to solve this problem as this is the only national team with no logo on Wikipedia
