Lex Lang does the voice of Sagara Sanosuke on Rurouni Kenshin and Crim on .Hack//Sign.

Removed from the bottom of the article:

"Please note : Actor was born in 70 NOT 65"

If that is so, please update the article accordingly. -- User:Docu

I have added a {{fact}} tag to his birthdate, since this contradicts imdb. His wife's birthdate is also different from imdb. I know we can't use imdb as a definitive source, but if there are conflicting dates floating around, we need a citation. Corvus cornix 21:58, 19 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Interestingly enough, his official biography at his official website says, In 1986, the John F. Kennedy Center For Performing Arts awarded Lex their Excellence In Acting Award. Also that year, Lex received the Outstanding Actor Award from The American College Theatre Festival for his portrayal of Ray Caulder in the play, "Lone Star".. He would have been a pretty precocious 16-year-old if he was actually born in 1970. Corvus cornix 22:02, 19 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Since no one has come forth with a reference to prove the 1970 birth date, I have deleted it. Corvus cornix 21:14, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ash?

edit

Didn't he do the voice of Ash in the game Phantom Brave? (If this is mentioned on the page and I just didn't notice it, I'm sorry.)--Tally Solleni 04:12, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Template Removal

edit

I removed the Template since alot, if not all of it's information is in the article.

Age

Our you sure that he was born in 1970 because all other websites say 1965 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.112.23.57 (talk) 02:46, 13 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

See above. I've re-tagged with a citation needed tag, and will remove it if no reliable source is provided. Corvus cornix 21:18, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

birthyear

edit

Why don't you just say he was born 1965 and leave it at that, because I'm sick and tired of the year of birth being removed, whether or not it has different birthyears!Kitty53 03:30, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Because we have no verifiable source for that date. Corvus cornix 18:47, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry for speaking the way I did. I won't do it again. I promise. Kitty53 (talk) 06:38, 3 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Name Origin

edit

I thought he was a hommage to Superman characters Lex Luthor and Lana Lang? 161.185.1.100 (talk) 16:52, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

"Walter Alexis Lang" doesn't sound like an hommage to anybody. It's his real name. Corvus cornixtalk

Comments for improvement

edit

I'm noticing that this article reads like a promo, I've done some small edits to it to try to tone that down, but what I think would really help is to work some independent references into this rather than relying on his web sites. I'm noticing a lot of information in the lead that doesn't appear to have anything to do with his career and what he's known for. I think the band, record company, and charities might be good information; however I'd like to see them in a section rather in the intro. There appears to be some fairly good sources for biographical information and I think this article could be really good. Please let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions for sources.

For starters, here's a google news search (please note that not all of this is WP:RS): [1] --Kraftlos (Talk | Contrib) 19:17, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Verifying Emmys

edit

Can someone help provide sources for Lang's Emmy wins, besides his websites and related press releases? What specifically did he get them for? I could not find his name in any of the 2009 or 2010 lists for Daytime Emmys, although the programs he was on Curious George and Tutenstein did nominate and win some stuff. -AngusWOOF (talk) 23:10, 24 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
