relationship to President Abraham Lincoln

edit

I have worked extensively with the records of Hingham, Massachusetts and have never been able to detect any relationship whatever between the Lincoln family of Hingham and the ancestry of President Abraham Lincoln. In my considered opinion such a linkage is a just-so story; if there was any common ancestry among these Lincoln families, it originated in England and did not perpetuate itself in the USA. I have, however, refrained from deleting this information from the Levi Lincoln, Jr. wiki webpage (I see that this page is being actively maintained, and therefore ask you to contact me at kouroo@kouroo.info for discussion of this sore point). -- Austin Meredith — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.109.215.52 (talk) 23:05, 6 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

I've made various tweaks as I went, but on first pass saw no major issues; your usual excellent work. Will begin checklist in a moment. -- Khazar2 (talk) 01:42, 18 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
