I note that for two years this article claimed that Lee Alvin duBridge invented the vacuum tube. In spite of the many projects and flags on this article, and in spite of the fact that the user who inserted this claim was subsequently blocked indefinitely, no-one in that time has taken 3 minutes to click on the in-line reference that discredit this claim.
