The topic of this article is covered in some detail at the main article for the DC Water and Sewer Authority. I was thinking of proposing a deletion or merge.--Koppas (talk) 17:33, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I propose that District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority#Controversy be merged into this article. The length of that section is starting to become WP:UNDUE. Per WP:SPINOFF, it would be better to leave a summary-style stub in the Sewer Authority article, and put the story of the lead contamination here. Also, the lead issue isn't just a problem for the Sewer Authority; it dragged the EPA and CDC down with it, too. See, for example, the writeup I added to Marc Edwards (civil engineering professor).
