In October 2021, this article was flagged as potentially not satisfying notability guidelines for academic journals. However, Labor Studies Journal is indexed in Scopus. Criterion 1.b) states that a journal is notable if it is indexed in "selective citation indices, indexing services, and bibliographic databases." Scopus is noted as one such selective index.
