How does it work (internally)?
editWhat does LOADHIGH with the program it shall load? Call it documented or undocumented DOS API function before loading the program so it is loaded into "high memory"? Does it work with every program? If no: How a program must be made to work with LOADHIGH? Where is the program loaded into? As far as I remember, the Upper Memory Area are made available by the emm386 driver, the himem.sys only enables the 64 KB HMA. More questions than answers after reading the article, even for a person like me who knew the DOS era... --RokerHRO (talk) 17:22, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
